Shipping, Payment & Delivery

Your order will be delivered by the German Post (uninsured) and/or by DHL (insured).
The shipping of small items of low value within Germany is cheapest by German Post.
Books up to 1 kg will be shipped as book deliveries and other articles weighing up to 500 grams are sent as merchandize deliveries.
For these delivery methods no tracking is possible, and furthermore they are extremely slow and take up to 14 days (!).
You can select the alternate faster and more expensive shipment by DHL, but the cost must be borne by you.

We usually ship within 1-2 business days, but always at the latest the Monday following your order.

We always have the advertised articles in stock (unless otherwise specified in the article description). In case of an unexpected accumulation of orders, it may occur that an article is not available. In this case, we will inform you if we can not deliver within 7 days.

The shipping costs are calculated according to the weight and type of goods shipped (with a lump-sum weight class for packing materials depending on the size of the package).
Depending on payment method, there may be additional fees (see payment methods).

Applicable to Germany:

    The shipping of books only (books, magazines, comics) is free shipping within Germany *!


    * Books shipments of less than 1 kilogram are sent as uninsured "book delivery" in the mail.
    If desired, for a fee you can specify an insured shipping via DHL.
    Fees generally are not considered shipping costs and will be billed extra for books.

    For shipments containing other products the following applies:
  • to 1 kg = 2.90 to 4.50 € (size dependent)
  • up to 3 kg = 4.90 €
  • up to 5 kg = 5.90 €
  • up to 10 kg = 7.50 €
  • up to 20 kg = 8.90 €
  • up to 31.5 kg = 9.90 €
  • Higher weights are only shipped after personal consultation and inquiry.

    • All orders over 100 € are shipped free of charge within Germany!
    Exception: Articles not suitable for children (younger than 18)!!



    Explanation of Payment (within Germany):
  • Paypal (pre-payment): Payment via a Paypal account or as a guest without Paypal payments by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) or Giropay (Sofortüberweisung).
    For payments without a Paypal account, press the word "Continue" that appears after the sentences "You don't have a Paypal Account? With Paypal make payments easy, fast, and secure." in the Paypal window. Then using the "Pay with" button, select the alternate payment method.
    The delivery takes place immediately if the product is available.
  • Bank transfer (pre-payment): please transfer the money in advance. We ship immediately once payment is received.
  • Direct Debit (pre-payment): We draw the money within 24 hours of your order. If your bank details were correct and you have sufficient funds, your order is shipped after 2 days.
  • Cash On Delivery (COD): There are COD fees of 5.95 Euro for general shipments and 9.95 Euro for pure book shipments. In addition, you must pay an additional 2 Euro to the deliverer.
    As a formula: 5.95 € or 9.95 € (COD fees) + 2 € (to the supplier) = 7.95 € or 11.95 € total.
    Add to this the normal shipping costs.
  • Invoice: Due to the poor payment record of many customers we can offer this payment method only for regular customers. Regular customers are customers who have ordered from us at least three times already (it also depends on the cash amount of your purchases). If you want to be registered as a regular customer, please write "regular customer" in the remarks field of your order.


Movies and articles not suitable for children.

Within Germany, it is not possible to send films and articles that are marked as "Keine Jugendfreigabe gemäß §14 JuSchG" (or films have received no age classification) to minors. The Cthulhu-Webshop sends such articles only as DHL Special Delivery for Products not suitable for children.

Shipping: If your order contains an article not suitable for children the shipping costs are 16.90 Euro per delivery, regardless of weight, or the number and value of items ordered. Our offer for free shipping does not apply to these shipments as the costs are due to the identity verification process.

Hand delivery: The recipient of the goods ordered must be present to accept the delivery. So that the identity and the age of the recipient can be checked, a valid identity card or passport is required. The submission of a driver's license is not sufficient to receive the item.
A delivery to a mailbox or a packing station address is not possible in this case.

Exact entry of your name as on your identity card: The name on the identity card of the recipient must correspond exactly to the name listed on the delivery address. Therefore, please enter the name of the recipient exactly as it appears in your identity card or passport (including middle names!).

Validity: For deliveries to addresses outside Germany, our normal shipping conditions apply. An identity check is not done.
For deliveries abroad, insured shipping with tracking is exclusively via DHL.

Applicable to shipping within the EU:

  • The shipping costs depend on the weight and increase with each kilogram.
  • The minimum shipping charges are 16.50 Euro and apply up to 1 kg.
  • The maximum shipping cost is 33.90 Euro and applies up to 31 kg.
  • The prices between the maximum and minimum will be calculated automatically when ordering.
  • Your shipping costs will be displayed before you submit your order, so that you can cancel if you decide the shipping costs are too high.
  • Weights are higher than 31 kg are only shipped after personal consultation and inquiry.

Shipping outside the EU:
The shipping costs are automatically calculated according to the country selected and are different depending on weight and country group. Your shipping costs will be displayed before you submit your order, so that you can cancel if you decide the shipping costs are too high.
You may also request the exact shipping costs for your country.
